Empty Huntingburg warehouse set to become new multiuse building

A California-based storage company plans to revitalize a long-vacant industrial building in Huntingburg and open a shared warehouse space by mid-April.
All American Warehouses is under contract to purchase the 99,000-square-foot facility at 213 West First Street, the former DMI factory owned by Flexsteel. The building has been empty for about five years.
The California-based company operates approximately half a million square feet of warehouse space across the United States, with facilities in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, California, and Georgia. The Huntingburg location will add to this portfolio.

Plans for the former DMI factory include renovations and updates, such as LED lighting, security cameras, and WIFI for tenants. The space will be climate-controlled in the winter and customizable for various uses, including manufacturing, small businesses, and storage services. The company said it will be very similar to what it provides in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
A spokesperson for the property management group, Gerardo Hernandez, noted that the facility’s strategic location offers significant advantages, such as being close to highways and population centers.
While the facility won’t officially open until mid-April, All American Warehouses is accepting leasing inquiries. Interested parties can contact the company at 650-800-8765 or by emailing leasing@allamericanwarehouses.com. You can learn more about the company here.
