Emma Mae Winn, 85, Spurgeon
Emma Mae Winn, 85, of Spurgeon, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Winslow, Indiana to Cleo and Golda (Clark) Hedges.
Emma had lived in Spurgeon for the past 30 years, moving there from Charlestown, Indiana.
She was a homemaker for many years while raising her children, then she went to work being a caregiver and CNA doing private duty care. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts, and was an avid reader. In her earlier years, she enjoyed cake decorating.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Winn of Spurgeon; son, Charles Fettinger (Carol) of Omaha, Nebraska; two daughters, Anna Moretz of Huntingburg and Jeannie Cole of Charlestown; sister, Eulah Dearing of Huntingburg; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Fettinger; brother, Richard Hedges; and sister, Barbara Bishop.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City. Burial will follow in the Spurgeon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
