Elmore joins BedWood as new president/CEO
BedWood and Parts, LLC, of Hopkinsville, Ky., announced B.J. Elmore has been named president and chief operating officer.

BedWood is a provider of replacement BedWood kits for classic pickup trucks and real wood bed liners for late-model pickups.
BedWood founder and chief executive officer Jeff Major will continue his role and involvement in the business.
Mr. Elmore has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, including over a decade of senior management, strategic development, and aggressive growth experience within the automotive aftermarket, most recently serving as vice president and general manager of Jasper-based Ridetech.
“B.J. is the right leader for BedWood,” said Major. “His extensive experience in the automotive aftermarket will serve to guide BedWood® to strengthen our channel partnerships, increase strategic alliances, and expand our global sales presence. We believe his leadership will also guide BedWood to achieve aggressive market expansion, and growth in all areas of our business.”
During his leadership of Air Ride Technologies, Inc. and subsequently Ridetech, Elmore assembled and guided a team of talented professionals to achieve record growth, streamline operations, enhance supply and distribution channels, as well as grow a market presence that stretched around the globe. During that time, he also served the industry as part of SEMA’s Hot Rod Industry Alliance, and was also honored with SEMA’s “35 Under 35” award for up-and-coming young executives.

Elmore earned his BS Degree in Business Administration, with High Distinction, from Indiana University, having additional focus in the areas of Corporate Finance and Economics.
