Ellis G. Wright, age 71

Ellis G. Wright, age 71, of English, Indiana, passed away at 5:41 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.

He was born November 24, 1941 in Birdseye, Indiana to Edward Earl and Addie (Huff) Wright.

Ellis retired after 37 years with the Jasper Rubber Company.

One of his favorite activities was fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by:

One daughter,

Tina Sturgeon – Birdseye, IN

One brother,

Harold “Sonny” Wright – Birdseye, IN

One sister,

Anna Marie Hardesty – Albany, Kentucky,

His niece and caregiver,

Beverly Hartwick – English, IN,

and by four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ellis G. Wright will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. The Rev. Albert Madden will officiate the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
