Eleanor K. Wallhauser, 82, Jasper

Eleanor K. Wallhauser, 82, Jasper, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born in St. Anthony on March 12, 1934, to Leo and Agnes (Klem) Wallhauser.

Miss Wallhauser was a housekeeper and nanny in Louisville, Ky., for many years. She was a tissue donor, attended Mass at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper and enjoyed the rosary, jigsaw puzzles, reading and embroidery.

Surviving are her niece and caregiver, Rose (Vince) Durcholz of St. Anthony; a brother-in-law, Ed Prechtel of Jasper; and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Juliana Prechtel and Dorothy Wallhauser, and a brother, Albert Wallhauser.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
