Eleanor was born February 8,1924 in Ireland, In. to Theodore & Cecelia (Sermersheim) Renner. She married Clarence Denning on May 17,1947 in St. Mary’s Church in Ireland, Ind.

Eleanor was a member of St. Meinrad Parish and its Ladies Sodality. She was a homemaker. Besides her husband Clarence, she was preceded in death by one a, Frank Denning, a grandchild, Brian Denning, a brother, Clemie Renner, two sisters, Agnes Eckert and Magdaline Sendelweck.

She is survived by her son, Randall Denning and his wife Janice, of St. Meinrad; a daughter-in-law, Mary Denning of St.Meinrad; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services 10:00 a.m. CST Wednesday in St. Meinrad Catholic Church, burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. CST Tuesday at Becher Funeral Home, Ferdinand, and from 9 a.m. CST till service time Wednesday and the church.
