Eight new Covid-19 cases reported Wednesday

Wednesday, the Dubois County Health Department reported eight new positive cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

That brings the total to 854 positive cases of Covid-19 in Dubois County residents.  OF the 854 cases, 715 have reportedly recovered and 17 residents have died. According to the health department, 6,845 residents have been tested.

According to the Indiana State Department of Health, the average positivity rate for all tests over the past seven days is about 10.9 percent. The average positivity rate for unique tests over the same time period is 15.7 percent.
