Edwin L. Kempf, 49

Edwin L. Kempf, 49, of Jasper, passed away at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at home.

Edwin was born in Jasper, Indiana on January 20, 1966 to Edmund B. and Magdelena (Brockman) Kempf.

Edwin previously worked as a supervisor for Nancy Baer Trucking in Jasper. He was a member of Jasper Outdoor Recreation. He enjoyed fishing, antiquing and attending AA meetings to celebrate his 12 years of sobriety.

He is survived by two sons, Eddie Kempf Jr. and John Kempf, both of Jasper; companion, Darlene Rust of Jasper; one brother, Allen Kempf and his wife Lila of Haysville; one sister, Sara Gabrel and her husband Ed of French Lick.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper, Indiana.
