Edwin C. “Eddie” Reller, 74

Edwin C. “Eddie” Reller, 74, of Holland, passed away at 7:18 p.m., on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born in Stendal, Indiana, on April 18, 1940 to Edwin and Irene (Tevault) Reller. He married Mary Jane Fenneman April 2, 1960 at the Holland United Methodist Church.
Eddie was employed by Fawnlake Furniture Co., Tretter Motor Co., John Frields Ford in Huntingburg, Scraper Ford in Otwell, Mangles Garage in Holland, and then purchased the Mobil Station in Holland. From there he went to work for Peabody Coal Co. in Lynnville where he retired in 1999 after 29 years of service. He was a member of the Holland United Methodist Church; an avid sports fan who followed the Dodgers, NASCAR and IU; and loved camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Reller of Holland; one daughter, Robin Ruhe and her husband Dave of Jasper; three sons, Ronald Reller and wife Dee of Tucson, Ariz., Roger Reller of Jasper, and Ryan Reller and wife Julia of Tewksbury, Mass.; one sister, Linda Denton and husband Jim of Terre Haute; one brother, Gerald Reller and partner Shirley Daub of Lynnville; by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Edwin “Eddie” Reller will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Holland United Methodist Church in Holland with burial to follow at the Holland United Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend Joe Kamman will officiate at the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday; and also at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday. Memorial donation can be made to the Holland United Methodist Church or to family wishes.
