Edwin A. Sickbert, 82
Edwin A. Sickbert, age 82, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2012 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born August 5, 1929 in Holland, Indiana to Arthur and Louise (Meyer) Sickbert. He was united in marriage to Hazel Katter on October 23, 1948 at St. Paul Church in Holland. Edwin retired from Kimball International and also worked at the Jasper Hatchery. He was a part-time farmer, enjoyed hunting and wood working, served in the Indiana National Guard, and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg.
He was preceded in death by: one daughter, Sherry Betz; four brothers – Melvin, Vic, Chester and Warren Sickbert; and one sister, Erma Heim.

- Lindi Landis – Noblesville, IN
by (14) grandchildren and (22) great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Edwin Sickbert will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Tom Wade will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Monday.
