Early voting underway

Midday Wednesday, Dubois County Clerk Amy Kippenbroch reported more than 200 residents have voted in person at the county annex since in-person voting opened for the first day.

She issued a reminder that early voting is underway at the annex building until Monday and is only available for registered Dubois County voters..  

Early voting at the annex is available until 6 p.m. Wednesday; Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Monday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Indiana Primary is set to allow voters from the Democratic and Republican parties to determine which candidates in their respective parties will represent them in the General Election this fall. In Dubois County, the Democratic Party has four individuals vying to face off against the three Republicans holding the county council’s at-large seats. Those potential candidates are Matt Brosmer, Mikayla Granados, Mike Kendall and Duncan Mathies. Democratic voters will choose three of the four by popular vote.

PRIMARY ELECTION DAY is June 2, 2020. Registered Voters in Dubois County must vote in their precinct specific location.
