Early voting begins April 7 for May 5 Primary Election in Dubois County

Early in-person voting for the May 5, 2026, Primary Election will begin Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Early voting provides residents with a convenient opportunity to cast their ballot prior to Election Day. Multiple locations throughout the county will be available on select dates. As a reminder, Dubois County is a Vote Center County, which means any Dubois County-registered voter may go to any open polling location during early voting or on election day to cast their ballot.

Dubois County Clerk Amy Kippenbrock reminded voters to bring a valid photo ID when voting in person. Early voting offers flexibility and helps reduce waiting times on Election Day.

The Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Polls will be open countywide on Election Day, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
