Dubon running for Precinct 4 seat on Huntingburg Council
José Dubon announced he will run on the Republican ticket for the Huntingburg Common Council seat representing Precinct 4.

Dubon, 40, has lived in Huntingburg for the past 21 years.
He is employed at MasterBrand Cabinets in Ferdinand as a team lead where he has been a team lead for five years supervising 32 people.
He is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg where he leads the choir for the Spanish Mass. He is also a member of ALASI, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to improve the lives of Latinos in Southern Indiana and promote civic engagement by motivating and helping them access trustworthy support systems.
Dubon also plays in a local band that participates in many community events.
“I am thankful for the opportunities that have opened up for me and my family and want to use my personal and work experiences to help bring more opportunities for future generations,” Jose said. “I see a lot of opportunity for growth in Precinct 4 and I want to ensure we continue the efforts to improve quality of life for the residents of Huntingburg.
He and his wife, Edith, live in Huntingburg with their three children, Melissa, 16, William, 10, and Ruby, 3. They spend much of their time showing support for the Raider band.
