Dubois County Solid Waste District Ag Recycling Day a success

The Dubois County Solid Waste District's annual Ag Recycling Day brought in over 1500 plastic pesticide jugs and over 500 gallons of used oil for recycling last Wednesday.

Many area farmers and farm businesses took advantage of the opportunity to recycle their plastic pesticide jugs and farm oil at the Dubois County Solid Waste District’s annual Agriculture Recycling Day on Wednesday.

About 900 lbs. of plastic and over 500 gallons of used oil were recycled. The Dubois County Solid Waste District issued a thanks to Dubois County farmers for taking time out of their busy day to recycle for a better tomorrow.
