Dubois County Park to celebrate 50 years
The Dubois County Park was established in October 1969 and it will celebrate the 50th anniversary this Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The public is invited to attend the celebration at the main shelter house in the campgrounds where the park board will also share the plans for the future of the park.
“We are very excited that we have received a $250,000 Land Water Conservation Fund grant to kick off improvements beginning in 2020,” said Park Board President Christine Prior. “We have a great county park and it is about to be even better.”
