Dubois County Museum to celebrate 20 years with party/car show
The Dubois County Museum is celebrating their 20th birthday in a big way. On Sunday, August 11, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET the museum will host a birthday party inside the museum and a car show outside on the shady, grassy park to the east of the museum.
The Car Show will be held rain or shine. Pre-registrations received before August 4 will be $10, registration the day of the show will be $15 per vehicle and held from 9:00 to noon. The show will last till about 3:00 p.m.
Dash plaques to first 50 cars registered will be given, and awards and prizes will be given for Best of Show, Club participation, and Top 25. Judging begins at noon, with awards at 2:30 p.m. In addition, door prizes and drawings will be held.

A concession stand will be available starting at 10:00 a.m. outside with the show. It will have hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, brats, chips, sweets, and drinks available.
Birthday activities will be held from 1to 4 p.m. in the museum. Music, ice cream, cake, decorate your own cupcake, clowns, face painting, petting zoo, crafts and activities for the kids, a scavenger hunt and more will be available.
Notable Museum volunteers will be available to give insight information on the museum’s displays.
Special admission prices of $2 for adults and $1 for students will be charged this day. As always, Museum 2019 Members will be admitted free.
