Dubois County Museum Storytime reads “Where the Wild Things Are”

The Dubois County Museum will host their monthly Storytime Children’s program on Saturday, October 10, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

This year, Storytime features books by children’s authors, and in October, the featured author is Maurice Sendak, author of “Where the Wild Things Are”.

Our young visitors are invited to join local musician Chris Dixon as he plays and starts the “Wild Rumpus” Maurice Sendak describes in Where the Wild Things Are.

Storytime will be held in the Log House area today for more space to move. Coordinator Carrie Holdsworth will have crafts after the stories and the activity. Admission charged. Memberships available.

About the museum

The Dubois County Museum is a local nonprofit organization committed to the collection, preservation and interpretation of historical artifacts and information important to the citizens of the county. Museum operations are funded by annual memberships, admissions, donations and gifts from visitors, area residents and businesses. It is operated entirely by volunteers.
