Dubois County Museum to participate in Blue Star Museum program

The Dubois County Museum is proud to announce that they are again participating in the Blue Star Museums program, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across the nation to offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel.

This includes the National Guard and Reserve and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2017. The program provides families an opportunity to enjoy the nation’s cultural heritage and learn more about their communities.  The complete list of participating museums is available at http://www.arts.gov/national/blue-star-museums.

The museum released a statement which said, “This summer we are saying a special thank you to active duty military and their families by participating in the Blue Star Museums program.”

The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00-4:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m. Closed on Monday.
