Dubois County Museum hosts Membership Dinner January 22

The Dubois County Museum announces its Membership Dinner for Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the museum.

A discussion on mining in Dubois County, in the Duff-Huntingburg area, with Randy Wellmeyer will begin at about 5:15 p.m. Following that presentation, Tom Fierst will discuss the silver mining bust in Dubois County in the late 1880s. Jim Corn will also present additional mining insights.

Following the discussion, Oink Inc. Catering will prepare a meal at about 6:15 p.m. The meal will feature brisket, smoked chicken, German fried potatoes, baked beans, green beans and dinner rolls.  Dessert will be dirt pudding, cupcakes and cookies. There will be also be a cash bar.
