Dubois County Museum hosting 6th annual Car Show August 10

The Dubois County Museum announces the sixth annual Museum Car Show on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the museum on 2704 N. Newton Street (U.S. 231 N) in the shady, grassy area behind the museum. 

The show will be held rain or shine. 

Car registration will be held from 9:00 a.m. to noon Eastern Time. Cost is $20 per vehicle the day of the show; $15 per pre-registered vehicles by August 3. Forms are available online, on Facebook and at the museum. Judging will begin at noon. Concessions will be available by 10:00 a.m., with refreshments and sandwiches being sold, including local brats and hamburgers. 

Dash Plaques and Goody bags will be given to the first 100 cars registered. Awards presented this year include: pre 2010-top 20 and Best of Show; 2010 and newer-Top 20 and Best of Show; Special Interest; People’s Choice; and President’s Choice. Attendance prizes and drawings will be held throughout the day among the registered cars. 

The museum will be open from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. for viewing, and a free pass is included in the Goody bag. 

2024 Car show winners were 1957 Ford Fairlane Convertible owned by Jerry Boehman, 2021 Ford Mustang owned by Steve Henke and 2019 Corvette Stingray owned by Marilyn Nottingham. 

The public is invited to view the cars, vote on special awards, enjoy concessions and visit the museum.
