The low cost spay/neuter program is ongoing. The Humane Society’s policy will give priority to individuals who need financial assistance in getting a pet spayed or neutered and for people who find stray animals. Certificates will be provided through the 20th of each month to people meeting those criteria. Any remaining certificates after the 20th of each month will be made available to the general public. The reduced cost certificates are valued at 50% off the normal fee for the spay/neuter. Certificates are available during adoption hours at the Pet Adoption Center.
Fundraising recycling efforts of printer/ink cartridges and aluminum cans continue. The community is encouraged to deposit their aluminum cans in the “Kennel your Kans” area on the east side of the Humane Society property. Cartridges can be dropped off during adoption hours. Scheduled pick ups for businesses can also be arranged.
