Dubois County Historical Society business meeting and dinner program

The Dubois County Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET, on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the Dubois County Museum, 2704 N. Newton Street, Jasper.

A buffet dinner will be served followed by a business meeting and a program. The public is invited.

Dubois County Historian Arthur C. Nordhoff, Jr. will speak about the history of the Dubois County Courthouse in Jasper. This is the last one in a series of three about “The Courthouses of Dubois County,” presented in honor of the Bicentennial of Dubois County.  The first courthouse in Portersville was the subject of the historical society meeting in October 2017. The log courthouse and old brick courthouse in Jasper were discussed in March 2018.
