Dubois County Highway reports two closures due to high water

The Dubois County Highway Department reports that two county roads in Patoka Township are closed due to rising water levels from Bruner Creek and Short Creek.

Districts 1 and 2 have no active closures.

In District 3, First Street in Huntingburg west of County Road 75 West is closed due to Bruner Creek, and County Road 200 West south of Sunset Drive is closed due to Short Creek

Motorists are advised to avoid flooded roads and never attempt to drive through standing water.

Road conditions are being monitored and closures will be updated as water levels change.
