Dubois County down to 10 roads impacted by high water
The Dubois County Highway Department reported that 10 county roads remain closed due to water levels from the Patoka River, White River, and several creeks — down from 14 closures on Wednesday.
In District 1, Madison Township continues to see the most impacts, with closures on CR 875 West, CR 800 West, CR 620 West, CR 150 South, and Ell Creek Road — several of which run adjacent to the Patoka River and Little Flat Creek. Boone Township also has four roads affected, with Portersville Bridge Road blocked north of the bridge in Daviess County due to the White River, Portersville Road West closed east of CR 500 West due to Rizzley Creek, CR 700 North closed east of Portersville Road, and CR 600 North closed west of 200 West — both due to Mill Creek.
