Dubois County Democratic Party hosting grand opening of Ferdinand headquarters, Sept. 16

Ferdinand–The Dubois County Democratic Party is proud to announce the grand opening of its new county headquarters on Wednesday, September 16, at a historic downtown Ferdinand location that will serve as a gathering place for community engagement, volunteer activities, candidate events, and party operations. The opening celebration will begin at 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

The new headquarters is located at 1245 Main Street in Ferdinand, at the corner of Main Street and 13th Street. The space is being made available to the party through the generosity of local businessman and master craftsman Keith Fritz, who restored the historic property, giving the Democratic Party a permanent community presence in Dubois County.

The headquarters represents a significant milestone for local Democrats

“This is an exciting moment for Democrats across Dubois County,” said party leadership during a recent planning meeting. “Having a dedicated headquarters gives us a visible presence in the community and a place where residents can learn about local issues, meet candidates, volunteer, and become more involved in the democratic process.”

The grand opening will offer community members a chance to tour the facility, meet local Democratic candidates and volunteers, and learn more about upcoming party activities.

The Dubois County Democratic Party encourages residents from across the county to attend, bring a friend, and help celebrate the opening of a new home for civic engagement and community involvement.
