Dubois County Community Foundation makes $55k in grants

The Community Foundation awarded $55,855 in grants to support projects across Dubois County, addressing pressing local needs and enhancing the county’s quality of place.

Ferdinand Elementary School received a $30,000 grant for a new nature path and outdoor wellness space. Funded by: The Fund for Dubois County ($26,000), Ferdinand Community Endowment ($2,000) and Clem & Mary Lange Best Chairs Endowment ($2,000)

SE Dubois School Corporation received a $885 grant to enhance its digital design classroom with graphic design tablets. Funded by: Ferdinand Community Endowment

Traditional Arts Today received a $25,000 grant for a historical mural celebrating the people, landmarks and innovations of Ferdinand. Funded by: The Fund for Dubois County ($23,000), Ferdinand Community Endowment ($2,000 grant)
