Dubois County Community Foundation announces recent grant awards

Another round of community grantmaking totaling $17,826 will help advance the missions of two nonprofit organizations. These grants strengthen programs that address local needs and enhance the quality of place in Dubois County.

Southwest Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition (SWICACC) received a $4,300 grant in support of its SANE Medical Program, housed at the Center on Fifth. This facility is the only site in Dubois County—and across the eight-county region—where Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) forensic medical exams are provided. Funded by: The Fund for Dubois County

Huntingburg Merchants Association received a $13,526 grant for the Huntingburg Christmas Light Experience, a new holiday display celebrating the 40th Annual Christmas Stroll.
