Dubois County Chamber hosts “Fall Into Business” ribbon-cutting blitz at upcoming Huntingburg Pumpkin Stroll

The Dubois County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its Fall Into Business Ribbon Cutting Blitz, scheduled for Saturday, September 6th, during the annual Huntingburg Pumpkin Stroll. The community is invited to join in celebrating two outstanding local businesses with back-to-back ribbon cuttings.

11:00 AM – The Dubois County Art Factory
The Dubois County Art Factory has grown from an artisan soap shop featuring local crafters and artists into a creative hub for the community. In addition to a paint-your-own-pottery studio with a wide variety of items to design, the Art Factory most recently introduced the Splatter Zone—a space for fun, expression, and connection where guests can splatter paint on canvases—or even each other. True to their philosophy of “coloring outside the lines,” the Art Factory has created a place where some days you are the artist, and some days you are the art.

1:00 PM – Capture ~ Crop ~ Create Scrapbooking Studio
Owned by Karen Horn, Capture ~ Crop ~ Create is a downtown Huntingburg treasure dedicated to preserving memories and sparking creativity. Karen’s lifelong passion for scrapbooking inspired her to open the studio as a welcoming space for crafters of all ages and skill levels. From beginner scrapbooking classes and card-making workshops to kids’ scrap camps and popular Photo Sip & Sort sessions, the studio provides a unique opportunity for community members to craft, connect, and create lasting keepsakes together.

“Events like the Ribbon Cutting Blitz give us a chance to highlight the incredible creativity and entrepreneurial spirit that make Dubois County so special,” said Angie Sanchez-Hostetter, Director of the Dubois County Chamber of Commerce. “Both of these businesses are wonderful examples of local talent and dedication, and we are proud to celebrate their success during such a vibrant community event.”

The Fall Into Business Ribbon Cutting Blitz is free and open to the public. We encourage community members to attend, explore these unique businesses, and enjoy all that the Pumpkin Stroll has to offer.
