Dubois County area nonprofits to host a Sexual Violence Awareness Event
Parents Supporting Education, Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition (SWICACC), and Crisis Connection, Inc., are hosting “Strength Through Strides”, a Sexual Violence Awareness event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, starting at 10 a.m., in the parking lot of the Jasper Public Library at 100 Third Ave., Suite B, Jasper, IN.
The event leads with a short presentation honoring survivors of sexual violence. There will be resource tables from SWICACC, Crisis Connection, Holly’s House, and Tri-Cap.
There will then be a self-paced display walk, followed by an announcement and a trophy presentation for the winners of the community shoe-decorating contest.
Finally, for ages 13+, a screening of a short documentary and a panel discussion in the Black Box Theater of the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center (in the same building as the library).
We invite the public to join us in spreading awareness and honoring survivors of sexual violence.
