Duane McCune, 93, Cuzco

Duane McCune, 93, of Cuzco, passed away on January 19, 2023 at Good Samaritan Northwood Retirement.

He was born in Cuzco on August 11, 1929, to Victor and Ada (Owen) McCune.

Duane married Patricia Bledsoe on May 24, 1947, and she preceded him in death.

He graduated in 1947 from Cuzco High School, was on the Cuzco Cemetery Board, was a former board member of NE Dubois Schools, and retired from Breidenbaugh Concrete.

He is survived by his son, James “Vic” Victor McCune (Eva) of Jasper; daughter, Diane Wheeler of Fishers; brother, Max McCune of Jasper; sisters, JoAnn Cramer of Terre Haute and Judy McCune of Salem; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Cuzco Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Cuzco Cemetery, c/o Peggy Burton, 5769 N. Cuzco Road S, Dubois, IN 47527.
