Driver uninjured after rollover accident in Jasper
A driver was uninjured after the small SUV he was driving crashed and flipped on Clay Street in Jasper Tuesday afternoon.
Alan C. Friz, 22, of Jackson St., Jasper, was eastbound on Clay St. in a 1998 Chevrolet Tracker at about 3:50 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason while going around a curve. According to police, the small SUV began to slide and then ran off the south side of the road where it struck a fence belonging to Jasper Salvage, 610 Clay St.
The impact caused the vehicle to flip onto the driver’s side.
Damages were estimated to be about $5,000.
