Dr. Ramanand Heeralall appointed to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center Staff

Hospitalist Ramanand Heeralall, M.D., was recently appointed to the medical staff at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center. A hospitalist is a doctor who works exclusively within the hospital, focusing on the general medical care of hospitalized patients. 

Dr. Heeralall received his medical degree from the University of Guyana and completed a residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He has worked for the last 19 years at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, where he received Physician of the Year in 2015. Dr. Heeralall is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
