Dr. Michael Snyder Appointed to Medical Staff

Michael Snyder, M.D. has joined the Active Medical Staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. A native of Jasper, Dr. Snyder is returning home to serve the region in gastroenterology, which specializes in the evaluation and treatment of disorders of the digestive tract. Some of the conditions he treats include colon polyps and cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn), gallbladder and biliary tract disease, hepatitis, pancreatitis and various other digestive disorders. He also performs procedures including esophagogastroduoenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, ERCP and other advanced endoscopic techniques.

Dr. Snyder received his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed his residency and fellowship in gastroenterology at William Beaumont Hospital at Royal Oak, Michigan. He is associated with Digestive Care Center in Evansville and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Snyder is married to Dr. Farah Snyder and has one son, Everett.
