Dr. Karin M. Gray, age 48, of Jasper, formerly of Anderson, Indiana passed away at 9:30 p.m., on Saturday (March 23, 2013) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Dr. Gray was born on April 26, 1964 in Honolulu, Hawaii to William James and Cora Sue (Baker) Gray.

She was a graduate of the Lapel High School Class of 1982, and was a graduate of the Franklin College class of 1986, and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at Franklin. She was a 1990 graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed a three year OB/GYN residency at Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.

She was a OB/GYN Physician for 23 years, and she practiced in Jasper since 1994, working alongside Dr. Terry Brown, Dr. Greg Miller, and Dr. Gary Kipp.

She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper, and she was on the Board for the Jasper Public Library. She was also a past member of the Tri Kappa Sorority.

She enjoyed traveling, fishing, reading, and crafting.

Preceding her in death are her parents William James Gray and Cora Sue Persing.

Funeral services for Dr. Karin M. Gray will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (March 28, 2013) at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper, with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 on Wednesday (March 27, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, the Jasper Public Library, the American Cancer Society, or to a favorite charity.
