Dr. Farah Snyder appointed to medical staff

Jasper – Farah Snyder, M.D., specializing in obstetrics/gynecology, was recently appointed to the Active Medical Staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.

Dr. Snyder was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana, and received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

While attending medical school, Dr. Snyder was inducted in the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes demonstrated excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service. After her residency, she joined a private practice at the Detroit Medical Center’s Huron Valley-SINAI Hospital where she served as a board member for the Breast Program Leadership Group. She is board certified.

Dr. Snyder values the importance of health care prevention and has special interests in obstetrics, vaginal surgery, urinary incontinence, adolescent gynecology, and family planning. She is married to Dr. Michael Snyder, originally from Jasper, and has one son, Everett.
