Downtown Chowdown food truck event happens Wednesday

Food Truck Junkies get ready for this Wednesday, July 8th as the first Downtown Chowdown will begin at 4 p.m.

Eight food trucks, a farmers’ market, live music, and special promotions at the Downtown Merchants will be on display around the Jasper Square.

Visitors are invited to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy your dinner and music.

Food trucks from Taqueria El Llano (Jasper, IN), A Tasty Bite of Europe (Owensboro, KY), Madi’s Main Squeeze (Jasper, IN), Oink, Inc Smokehouse (Jasper, IN), Fistful of Tacos (New Albany, IN), Tri R Tips (Owensboro, KY), Kona Ice (Evansville, IN), and Acropolis Express (Evansville, IN)

The farmers’ market vendors include Hasenour All-Natural Pork & Beef, Beckman Family Farm, Dale Knepp’s Family, Fromme 2 You, Shirley’s Sweet Rolls, and Graber Hill Produce.

Live music sponsored by Smithville Fiber features The Hiding.

Also, be sure to stop by the downtown merchants for special promotions
throughout their stores during their Re-Grand Opening event.

The square will not allow parking after 2:00 p.m., and the square will be shut down to vehicular traffic at 4 p.m.

As a reminder, the event will be held the second Wednesday of the month from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. starting on July 8th, rain or shine, on the square in downtown Jasper.
