Downtown Chowdown food truck event happens next week

The first Downtown Chowdown will take place on Wednesday, July 8th from 4to 8 p.m.

The new event will feature food trucks around the Square in Jasper.

The following food trucks are taking part: Taqueria El LLANO Mexican Food/Taco Stand, A tasty bite of Europe, Madi’s Main Squeeze, Oink Inc. Smokehouse, Fistful of Tacos, Tri-R-Tips Hawaiian style BBQ, Kona Ice of Evansville, and Acropolis Restaurant & Catering

The Hiding will also provide live music during the event.
