Dorothy Nigg, 93

Dorothy Nigg, 93, passed away January 29, 2015 at Good Samaritan Northwood’s Resident in Jasper.

She was born on July 21, 1921 to the late Ott and Maggie (Fry) White.

Dorothy was a member of the Loogootee United Methodist Church Super 60s. She was a homemaker and a seamstress and enjoyed sewing, gardening and Indiana Pacers.

She is survived by son, Kenny Nigg and wife Cheryl of Hammond; daughters, Judy Meade and husband Steve of Washington and Gina Flick and husband Terry of Huntingburg; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Nigg; sons, Bill and Jim Nigg; brother, Lolan White; sisters, Augusta Stone and Goldie Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Loogootee United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
