Dorothy M. Springston, 93, Selvin

Dorothy M. Springston, 93, of Selvin, passed away at 3:30 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2020, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born July 7, 1927, in Jasper, Indiana, to Albert and Rose (Dischinger) Klein. She married Warren K. Springston on December 11, 1948. 

Dorothy was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bunco, traveling, and spending time with her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Debbie Brace; one son, Roy Dean Springston; and by two sisters and five brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Warren K. Springston of Selvin; four children, Donna (Carroll) Morgan of Selvin, David (Sharon) Springston of Holland, Barbara (Jack) Werremeyer of Selvin and Linda (Charlie) Hall of Selvin; son-in-law, Steve Brace of Holland; by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way.

Private funeral services for Dorothy M. Springston will be held at 1:00 p.m. ET Friday, October 2, 2020, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Selvin Cemetery in Selvin, Indiana. 

Pastor Debbie Roe will officiate at the service. 

Private visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., on Friday, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home. The family has asked that services remain private due to COVID-19 precautions. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pigeon Township Community Center.
