Dorothy M. Oser, age 80, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday (February 6, 2013) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born at Celestine, Indiana July 20, 1932 to John and Elenora (Schepers) Sander. She had two marriages; 1st marriage to Hilary J. Oser August 16, 1952;He preceded her in death July 31. 1990. 2nd marriage to Leroy F. Oser July 22, 2000 in Jasper.
Dorothy retired form Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center where she had worked for 25 years. And previously worked at the Dairy Queen in Jasper for many years.
She was a member of both St. Ferdinand Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. Daughters of Isabella, St. Ann’s Society – Jasper Moose Lodge #1175 and the Huntingburg Eagles.

Preceding her in death besides her first husband is one brother Robert E. Sander, two sisters, Frieda Nance and another sister Mary Catherine Sander who died in infancy, and one step Grandson, Kyle Jones.
Rosary will be held at 1: 45 p.m. by the D of I’s and the St. Ann’s Society at the funeral home.
Funeral services for Dorothy Oser will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (February 9, 2013) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday (February 8, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
