Dorothy M. Menner, age 84 passed away at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (December 15, 2012) at her home.

She was born in Jasper November 15, 1928 to Herbert and Josephine (Heichelbech) Hoffman. She married Charles (Jim) Menner June 10, 1950 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Dorothy was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and the St. Ann’s Society.

She enjoyed playing cards.

One daughter,

  • Mrs. Mark (Karen) Monar, Newburgh, IN

Three sons,

  • Kurt Menner and spouse Lisa, Franklin Lakes, NJ
  • Keith Menner and spouse Terry, Indianapolis, IN
  • Ken Menner and spouse Sandy, Greenwood, IN

Eleven grandchildren

Preceding her in death besides her parents is one brother Thomas C. Hoffman.

Funeral services for Dorothy Menner will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (December 22, 2012) In St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday (December 21, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Rosary will be held at 1:45 p.m. Friday (December 21, 2012) by the D of I’s and the St. Ann’s Society at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.becherkluesner.com.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
