Dorothy L. Beckham, 92

Dorothy L. Beckham, age 92, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 7:20 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born June 16, 1921 in Waltonville, Illinois to General and Beatrice Bean. Dorothy was united in marriage to Clyde N. Beckham on December 14, 1945 in Morganfield, Kentucky.

She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and was a member of Central Christian Church in Huntingburg.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Clyde N. Beckham, who died October 20, 2010; one son, John David Beckham; and one daughter, Judith Ann Pfaff.

She is survived by:

Five grandchildren of which two were her primary caregivers,

Stephanie Chicoine – Huntingburg, IN

Jason Pfaff – Jasper, IN

Eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Dorothy L. Beckham will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Central Christian Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Abner Cemetery in Nason, Illinois. Brother Paul Newland and Brother Jim Petty will officiate the services.
