Dorothy K. Brown, 89
Dorothy K. Brown, age 89 of Jasper, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Monday (November 5, 2012) at her home.
She was born at Duff, Indiana March 18, 1923 to Emil G. And Julia (Spitzer) Sunderman. She married Calvin Brown February 9, 1946 at Evansville, Indiana. He preceded her in death December 31, 1968.
Dorothy retired from Jenco Gas Service in Jasper and had formerly worked for Jasper Planning Mill and Brendles Hardware in Jasper.
She is a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg.

Six grandchildren; Kimberly and Kirk Brown, Vicki Englert, Kristy Kramer, Jillian and Stephanie Teder. Nine great grandchildren; Megan, Lindsey and Jace Englert, Damon Mills, Austin, Tristan and Tanner Brown, Caleb and Caden Kramer also three great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are one son, Richard Brown, Also One granddaughter and two great grandchildren. Two brothers, Harold and Kenneth Sunderman and two half brothers, Donald and Ronald Davis and two half-sisters, Frances Braun and Beverly Coons.
Funeral services for Dorothy Brown will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (November 8, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel with burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. The Rev. Tom Wade will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday (November 7, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
