Dorothy Jean Kimmel, 60, Dubois

Dorothy Jean Kimmel, 60, of Dubois, passed away at 7:35 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019, at home surrounded by her family. 

Dorothy was born on November 1, 1958, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Carl and Mary (Cooper) Goller. 

Her stepfather, Carl Goller, was very instrumental in her life.

She married George Kimmel on November 1, 1995. 

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic religion. She enjoyed playing on her tablet and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, George Kimmel of Dubois; six children, Jeffery Dotterweich, Melissa Mills, Tiffany (Chris) Freyberger, Felicia Dotterweich, Ashley Kimmel, and George Kimmel II; 14 grandchildren; two great grandsons; four sisters, Fran Purdy, Mary Ann Bachman, Carla Howell, Helen Hagman; one brother, Carl Goller Jr. 

Preceding her in death besides her parents, are her stepfather, Carl Goller, one son, Joshua Dotterweich, one sister, Theresa Lattrell, and two brothers, Lee Joe and Johnny Schneider. 

Private services will be held at a later date. 

Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
