Dorothy B. Taylor, 93, Boonville

Dorothy B. Taylor, 93, of Boonville, passed away on April 10, 2023.

She was born in Warrick County on November 12, 1929, to the late Carl and Clara Moesner.

Dorothy was the youngest of 10 children and was the last living member of the family.

Dorothy raised a family and had many hobbies. Among her many hobbies were sewing, piecing quilts together, and, later in life, taking up canvas painting.

Dorothy and Vernon spent many retirement years in Florida, where they loved to fish and then hosted a family fish fry after returning for the summer.

Later in life, diagnosed with macular degeneration and considered to be legally blind, she continued to live in their home in Boonville even after Vernon’s passing up to the time of her death.

She is survived by her four children, Gerald of Boonville, Roger (Patricia) of Newburgh, Pamela (JT) of Jasper, and Timothy (Judy) of Chandler; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Koehler Funeral Home, 304 E. Main St. Boonville, IN 47601. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Dennis Taylor and Reverend Dan Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
