Dorothy B. Niehaus, 80

Dorothy B. Niehaus, 80 of Ferdinand passed away Monday November 26th at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

She was born January 1, 1932 in St. Marks, IN. to Adam and Lorena (Hedinger) Bromm. Dorothy married Francis A. Niehaus on August 28, 1954 in St. Anthony Catholic Church. She worked for GE in Tell City for 37 years.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Francis, one son Bill (Darla) Niehaus and a daughter Mrs. Patrick (Donna) May of Owensboro, KY. Grandchildren Chris and Danny May, Megan Durbin, Adam Niehaus, Dara Niehaus, Thad Niehaus and Caleb Niehaus.

Three step-grandchildren, Derrick, Clayton, and Kelsey Harmon.

Five great grandchildren, Luke Hannah, Beau, Cierra and Cayla.

Dorothy was preceded in death by a son Dave Niehaus, 2 brothers Othmar and Dennis Bromm, 4 sisters Leona Brosmer, Aleen Oeding, Joyce Buechlein and Ruth Bromm.

Visitation will be Wednesday November 28th from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST. at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM. with burial to immediately follow in the church cemetery.
