Doris Smith 87

Doris Smith 87, passed away on May 16, 2015 at Northwood Retirement Center.

She was born on August 22, 1927 to Joseph and Norma (Lemmon) Dittmer. She married Robert D. Smith on April 20, 1947.

Doris was a dedicated member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bob Smith; sister, Evelyn Kuebler; two brothers, Gerald Dittmer and Donald Dittmer; and daughter in law, Beverly Smith

She is survived by a daughter, Pam Weber and her husband Ward of Charlestown Ind.; two sons, David and his wife Belinda of Santa Claus and Dale and his wife Julie of Angola Ind.; brother, Allen Joe Dittmer and his wife Barbara of Wilmington N.C.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass is Planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the Fuller Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.
