Doris Ann Libbert, 71

Doris Ann Libbert, 71, of Santa Claus, formerly of Dale, Indiana, passed away at 1:50 a.m., on Monday, January 12, 2015, in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born December 21, 1943 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Otto and Talitha (Langebrake) Kemper.
Doris worked as a bookkeeper and then as a cashier at Circle S Mart where she retired. She was a member of the Santa Claus United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, reading, growing flowers and gardening. She loved attending activities with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Byron Libbert; and her companion of 20 years, Floyd Miller.
She is survived by two sons and two daughter-in-laws, Steven Libbert and his wife Karen and Roger Libbert and his wife Carla, both of Ferdinand; one sister- and brother-in-law, Fernie Trummel and her husband Dean of Holland; four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Doris Ann Libbert will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Zoar Cemetery in Zoar. The Reverend Joe Kamman will officiate at the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and also from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
