Donna R. Matheis, age 51 of Jasper passed away at 3:55 a.m. Thursday (December 29, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born in Jasper on January 25, 1960 to Daniel and Olga Wessel Prior. She married Phil Matheis on October 12, 1980 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Donna was working at Holiday Foods in Jasper for many years and also worked at the Jasper Herald for past 15 years.

She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Crusaders of Hope.

Also several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her father is one brother Daniel Prior Jr.

Funeral services for Donna Matheis will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (January 3, 2012) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday (January 2, 2011) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
