Donna M. Freyberger, 60, Dubois

Donna M. Freyberger, 60, of Dubois, passed away at 5:44 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Donna was born in Jasper on December 27, 1957, to Frederick and Eva (Hartwick) Thacker. She married Edward Freyberger on June 24, 1978, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper.

She worked as a CNA for over 35 years, and retired from Northwood Retirement Community. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Freyberger of Dubois; one daughter, Jennifer (Damien) Cox of Dubois; one son Christopher (Tiffany) Freyberger of Dubois; one adopted daughter, Rebecca (Eddie) Armstrong of Huntingburg; one stepdaughter, Melissa Calhoun of Florida; 13  grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her parents are two sisters, Deborah Stuckey and Brenda Furnish, and one brother Timothy Thacker.

A funeral service for Donna M. Freyberger will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Enlow Cemetery in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
